TREMA Granulate separator
TREMA granulate separator are a variant of the cyclone with a more compact design, and are mainly used to separate bigger particles/granulates.
The general method of operation corresponds to that of our Trema cyclones:
The exhaust air to be cleaned reaches the cylindrical dust removal pipe of the granulate separator via an inlet duct. The dust particles are moved radially towards the outer wall by centrifugal force in the rotational flow which occurs. The particles are transported downwards to the dust discharge.
Appropriate built-in components of the granulate separator prevent particles which have already been separated from being carried along.
The cleaned exhaust air flows vertically upwards through the immersion pipe to the gas exit port.
